BAI Remote Monitoring and Management
Remote Monitoring and Management-Baychester
BAI’s Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) system is designed to assist the Network Technical client support group to proactively identify and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues, in advance prior to failure or service interruptions.
The Network Remote Monitoring and Management utility is installed on each network device to monitor the health of each component such as connectivity, disk, memory, power, etc. The RMM system will issue alerts via email back to the BAI Support Center allowing the support technicians assisting in the identification of the root cause of the alert and immediately implement notifications and/or implement corrective action in advance of performance interruption or possible device failure.
In addition, all software updates can be installed via the RMM console rather than remoting into the actual devices. This will minimize the lag time between receiving updates and the actual implementation, eliminating down time and increase the overall functionality of and health of each device.
The Remote Monitoring and Management utility monitors the health of each established device and in the event of any issues with the functionality of the device will immediately send an alert as shown on the following page.
The fee for this service will be .99 per device per month and will be shown on the next quarter billing of the Network Support Agreement. The devices include all desktops, notebooks, printers, WAPS, managed switches, routers, and servers.
